Family Reunion

Callie and her cousin Morgan playing in the stream. They had so much fun together. Callie cried on the way home because she missed her.
Twiners! They wanted to dress the same when we were together and do their hair alike.
Paige and her cousin Jayden. They were so cute together. It was nice they had a friend to play with.
Paige the day after we got home from Utah and Idaho. She was so exhausted that she fell asleep in her high chair. I had to take a picture.

Family reunion in Swan Valley, Idaho

After park city we drove up to Idaho for a family reunion in Swan Valley. It was at this girls camp called West Piney. It has been around forever. it lasted 3 days but we were there only part of 2 days. We had a good time visiting with cousins and aunts and uncles. They have this slide that is soooo long. As you can see in the picture below. I was so scared to go down the first time. It was fun. They provide little pieces of carpet squares to go down on. It does warn you not to go down in the dark and when wet. I went down when getting dark and flew off the end of the slide because it made it slicker.
Yikes! Very steep! Down below was a little stream that was so cold. There was swings and so much room to run. It was such a beautiful piece of property.
My Dad, "Grandpa" taking Callie down for the first time. But as you can see the stairs to the side are a killer to climb up. Your body is dying by the time you get there. How out of shape a I?

River rafting

Taylor was able to go river rafting with his team from work. He said they had a great time. Afterwards the rafting people provided dinner for everyone. I met them later and we ate dinner together at this spot. It was beautiful. They grilled chicken and steak and we had salad, bread, and key lime pie. Yum! I took this picture and thought it turned out really good considering I know nothing about photography.
We saw a few horses wandering around. Callie found a black lab that was staying for the left over food. She had a good time playing with the dog.

On our drive through Wyoming we passed Palasaides Lake or Dam not sure exactly what it's called. It was so pretty. My picture didn't do it justice.

Evanston, Wyoming

Taylor went river rafting with his team from work and I decided to go to Evanston, Wyoming to see some friends from college. Its only an hour from Park City. The kids had a good time. Callie and Brynlee loved riding the car. Paige had a ride but callie drove a little too fast.

Then they took us to their fair. It is a small town. They had free jump houses which was awesome.
Boston and Preston.
I took Paige for a ride. My silly face.
The luggage cart ride. The kids thought it was so fun. A few coments were made that we had the cutest luggage they had seen.

We went to this fancy 5 course meal with Taylor's team from work. The next day they were going river rafting. Taylor told them when they were decided what activity to do he didn't want to get wet or be cold. So they bought him this dorky hat and gave him a shower cap. It was pretty hilarious.
There is the shower cap.
This is the view from the back of the hotel. On the way back from dinner cause the kids had had it.
Swimming at the pool. It was heated and really nice.

We went swimming the next morning and it was cold. We took a little break.
The lobby of our hotel. It was really cool.
It had a couple floors above the lobby that looked down. Their was sitting areas and restaurants.

More Hotel

Park City, Utah

Taylor had a trip for work in Park City again on August 4 and 5th. Last October we went and I forgot my camera. So this time I was sure to get pictures of our beautiful hotel room.

This was my favorite part of the hotel; the fireplace. The kids loved jumping off of it onto the cushion. We didn't need it because it wasn't that cold.

Out the back door was a balcony. It overlooked the pool. We never sat out there but it would have been nice.

Projects around the house

Before! This was an area that was bugging me in my house. Nothing seemed to go together. So I came across this hall tree at Pier 1 and it was $400 so I decided to wait. I found this one at costco for so much cheaper.

After! I really like it.
I made this hooded towel for a neighbor down the street who is having a baby. It turned out pretty good considering it was my first time. Thanks to my friend who showed me how.
