Fall Fun!

We had coupons for free tickets pack to the pumpkin patch.  It didn't even get you one ride.  The kids each rode 1 ride and we went home.  We still had fun just walking around.

They had a cute quad ride.  Callie and Preston loved it.  They drove them all around the pumpkin patch.
Paige got to go in the Mickey Mouse Jumper.
On Saturday we had a birthday party at Pharohs.  They had 3 bouncers set up.  The kids had a blast.  There was pizza and ice cream sandwiches and cake.  Then they got to play games on the other side and play on more bouncers.  It was the best party I have ever been too.
Paige wouldn't get out of the bouncer.  She loved it.
I even had fun.  Callie has a look of horror on her face!  Haha!
This slide was pretty awesome.  I have some burns to prove it.
Preston loves motorcycles so Taylor helped him race.

My moms visit

Paige is getting so big.  My mom loved this little one.  I can't believe she's almost 2!
I found this on Pinterest and my mom helped me.  She told me to add the black ribbon.  Very cute indeed.
We also took her to the Mormon Battalion in San Diego.  She loved it.
Afterward we walked around Old Town San Diego.  We had lunch at Miguels that the Sister Missionaries recommended.  It was really good.  Then we strolled around and window shopped.
We headed to the beach and it was a perfect day.  Not hot or cold.  Taylor taking a snooze!
Callie and Grandma
The kids wanted us to run down the beach with them as fast as we could.  We held Paige up and she swung.  We had fun walking down the beach.
The water was cold so hench the jacket.  I can't believe we were at the beach in October.  It doesn't feel like the fall.

Pumpkin Patch

Preston's Preschool had a field trip at the pumpkin patch.  They had a hay ride and learned about pumpkins.       Then all the kids picked out their favorite pumpkin and climbed on the hay castle.

My mom was in town visiting and was able to come with us.

 Preston and Macy
Preston's class were able to feed the goats.  All the bigger goats were pushing the little ones out of the way. This little baby goat was so cute.  We made sure the baby got some.
This turkey had all its feathers fanned out.  I have never seen one like that before.
Preston loves trackers, trucks, trailers, jet ski's etc.  He is totally boy!
Paige's pumpkin she picked out.  Just her size.
 Preston's class.
I loved how this photo turned out.
he didn't want to take a picture.

Then we drove up to Oak Glen and had a picnic at the park.  Paige and Preston love to swing on the tire swing.  We headed to this candy shop after and got some fudge.

Our weekend to Vegas!

Saturday morning we left for Vegas.  My Mom watched our little ones for 3 days.  We arrived around lunch and went to this restaurant called the Burger Bar.  It was good.   We met our friends there who were attending a Dental Convention.

Our friends were staying at the Luxor and we went swimming here.  Forgot the camera in the room.  It was nice and relaxing to not chase kids.  We layed out and just visited.
We were in the Mandalay Bay and walked past this.  If you watch the Bachelor this is where one of the dates were.  Ashley took a date and they bunggied down all the wine.
We went to eat at this place called Red, White and Blue.  It was good.
Sitting in the theater getting ready for the Lion king to start.  It was so good.  The animals and costumes were unbelievable.  It was very true to the movie.

We had to get a picture in front of the Las Vegas sign.
Our friends, Lance and Kylee.  We knew each other from college.
Big Bird was trying to earn some money by the Las Vegas sign.
On Sunday we went to the Hoover Dam.  We thought it was a good Sunday activity.  It was good history to learn about.  Lance said he didn't want to go on the $30 dam tour.  Taylor started laughing.  I didn't get it at first.  It became our inside joke.
Hoover Dam

This is the new bridge built that bypasses driving over the dam.
On our tour we went down in these caves under the dam.  It was pretty cool.  We got in an elevator and packed in people shoulder to shoulder.  If you are claustrophobic you would have screamed.
These are 8 generators that produce electricity for the city of Los Angeles.
