Mini road trip to Arkansas!

Monday, July 22, 2013 the kids and I left to drive up to see Britney for a week.  I was super nervous about driving by myself.  Had never done it alone.  The drive ended up being great.  We drove half way to Mcallister, Oklahoma, which is 3 hours, to stop and eat lunch.  Ate and rested for an hour and 3 more we were there!
Tuesday we took the kids swimming at her community pool in Bella Vista.
Her pool had a fun water slide.  I even went down a few times.  Callie and Preston loved it.

Wednesday, Britney took us on this beautiful hike to a waterfall.  I can see why Arkansas is called the Natural state.  Where Britney and Andy live, it is just breath taking.
Long walk for a little person.
 The beginning of the waterfall.
 We made it.
There is a house back to the left of the water.  What a gorgeous view they would have.
Sisterly love!  It was so fun to spend time together.  We really enjoyed being together.

We changed into our bathing suits and came to this park and let the kids play in the stream.  It was rocky and freezing water.  We didn't stay too long.  It looked super enticing but definitely too cold for me.
Paige wore her crocks which helped keep her feet protected.

After playing in the stream we went to eat a delicious lunch and had ice cream at this place called Kiki Berry.
Friday we went to the Wild Safari Animal park about an hour from Britney's house.  We drove in the car and watched from the closed windows all these animals.  The baby lion cubs wrestling.

The kids and I adore Dallin!  He has the sweetest voice you have ever heard.

Callie was so brave and wanted to hold this baby snake.  I don't care how small it was you couldn't pay me.
These giraffes were babies apparently.  Nothing small about these animals.
Callie and Baylee really liked the rabbits.
On Saturday a friend of Andy's let him take his boat out.  We packed lunches and blared the radio on the boat to One Direction.
Preston jumped off the top of the boat into the water.

The water was perfect and so was the weather.
Paige had a much needed nap.
Baylee and Callie on top.  It was kind of scary jumping off.  It took me a few minutes to get up the courage.

4th of July Festivities!

We were invited on July 3rd to BBQ at the Lawyers house along with Benson's, and Goodman family!

All the kids decorated their bikes in red, white and blue for the parade later that night.
 Callie's bike.
 Annie Benson and Paige.
All us girls tried to wear at least some red, white or blue.  Jenna Lawyer, Amy Benson, myself, and Marci Goodman,

The start of the kid parade.  They rode their bikes up and down the street.  Then we watched fireworks on their front lawn.
4th of July we went to Meme and Papa's house for swimming with lots of friends and family.  Chase set up this tent and it was great for the little kids to swim under and adults to hang out under.
Lexi, Keira, Paige, and Kendra.  They loved the slide.  The bigger kids wanted to get in the baby pool.  We had to kick them out.

Liberty threw the ball to the cousins and then they tried to catch it while jumping off the diving board.
Uncle Chase, Kendra and Paige relaxing inside.  It was a record for how cool it was in Texas.

Cousins Day at Trophy Club Splash park

We got to the park around 10 and stayed until 3:30!  Kids had a great time and were totally exhausted.
 Keira, Preston, and Austin

 Gotta love Liberty's underwater camera.
The slides and the diving board was the best part!

Preston had just learned to swim and he was so brave jumping off the diving board!
Callie, Macy, and Rylee
(macy joined cousins day several times 2013 summer)

Paige wouldn't go down this slide at first so I took her and she kept going over and over.
