Monday, July 22, 2013 the kids and I left to drive up to see Britney for a week. I was super nervous about driving by myself. Had never done it alone. The drive ended up being great. We drove half way to Mcallister, Oklahoma, which is 3 hours, to stop and eat lunch. Ate and rested for an hour and 3 more we were there!
Tuesday we took the kids swimming at her community pool in Bella Vista. Her pool had a fun water slide. I even went down a few times. Callie and Preston loved it.
Wednesday, Britney took us on this beautiful hike to a waterfall. I can see why Arkansas is called the Natural state. Where Britney and Andy live, it is just breath taking.
Long walk for a little person.
The beginning of the waterfall.
We made it.
There is a house back to the left of the water. What a gorgeous view they would have.
Sisterly love! It was so fun to spend time together. We really enjoyed being together.
We changed into our bathing suits and came to this park and let the kids play in the stream. It was rocky and freezing water. We didn't stay too long. It looked super enticing but definitely too cold for me.
Paige wore her crocks which helped keep her feet protected.
After playing in the stream we went to eat a delicious lunch and had ice cream at this place called Kiki Berry.
Friday we went to the Wild Safari Animal park about an hour from Britney's house. We drove in the car and watched from the closed windows all these animals. The baby lion cubs wrestling.
The kids and I adore Dallin! He has the sweetest voice you have ever heard.
Callie was so brave and wanted to hold this baby snake. I don't care how small it was you couldn't pay me.
These giraffes were babies apparently. Nothing small about these animals.
Callie and Baylee really liked the rabbits.
On Saturday a friend of Andy's let him take his boat out. We packed lunches and blared the radio on the boat to One Direction.
Preston jumped off the top of the boat into the water.
The water was perfect and so was the weather.
Paige had a much needed nap.
Baylee and Callie on top. It was kind of scary jumping off. It took me a few minutes to get up the courage.
