More Easter.

The Easter Bunny visited our house and brought candy and hoola hoops for Callie and Preston. They have been wanting one. They even light up as you twirl.

I loved her little outfit. I found Callie's first and then was at Target and whala, it came together.

Easter Egg Hunt!

We had an egg hunt at our community park. They had age groups together and they had 5000 eggs. And this is how many eggs Callie and Preston ended up with. They were very disappointed. We also had to park a mile away. It was kind of a let down.

Before the egg hunt begain.
We had a birds nest in one of our bushes outside. Callie saw some eggs and then we watched and they hatched on Friday. We kept taking a peek. They were so cute. By Sunday they were gone.

Callie is getting so tall. I guess she takes after me. I love this little dress.
Paige has the cutest personality. She has really cute expressions.
This is the first time I did her hair in a pony tail. I did pigtails too. I didn't get out the camera for that. She has also started walking. Not well, but trying.

Cheesecake Factory!

Yum! We were able to go on a date when my mom was here. It was nice not to pay a babysitter. Thanks Mom for watching the kids. We ate a few appetizers and a reese's cheesecake. I hadn't been to the cheesecake factory since we lived in Texas. So 3 years later I say it's about time.It was freezing too. The restaurant was so crowded. It was an hour wait. So we ate on the patio. Luckily they had heaters.

Callie and I tried to build a snowman but we couldn't. The snow was too powdery.

Preston doesn't like the snow much. He was crying and wanted to go home. Poor guy.
That's a big snowball. Callie on the other hand loves to play in the snow. She used to watch this show called Calliou and he would throw snowballs. So she likes to do the same things he did.

Callie ran all the way to the fence. It was pretty deep.

Cold Weather and What, Snow!

April 9, 2011 it snowed on Saturday. The week before was Conference weekend and we were swimming. What! How crazy is that. Swimming one weekend and snow the next.

Driving up to Oak Glen to see a little more snow. There was quite a bit of snow in the mountains.
All the trees were so heavy with snow. It rained that night as well and I don't think the trees could handle all the water.
Outside our house. It snowed an inch or 2.
It was fun. The kids really enjoed playing in it.

Hot weather!

This was the end of March and it was in the high 80s so the kids wanted to go swimming. This is the best I could come up with. We don't have access to pools around here.

Polar Bear Exhibit

Watching the Polar Bears. One came right up to the window . It was neat.
Penguin Exhibit. I felt bad for them stuck in a small area.
Their were 2 people working in their. This lady was spraying snow onto the ground for the penguins. I thought it was interesting.

Hotel

Hanging out in our hotel before another day of Sea World. French braiding Callie's hair.
Swimming in the hot tub after a long day at Sea World. The kids love to swim.
Then we ordered Chili's to go and took it up to our hotel room. It was in the parking lot of our hotel. It was nice.

Sea World has a cool play area with a jump house and lots of fun things to climb on.

Their is also a place for babies. Paige loved it.

Fun things to do at Sea World

Shamu show was good but not as good as I remember. Since a trainer was killed a while back they can't get in the water with the whales.
Turtles
There were star fish and other sea creatures you could pick up but hold in the water
Blue dolphin show. Their were acrobatics as part of the show too. I liked it but we had terrible seats.
