1st horse ride

Preston was invited to a birthday party of a girl from school.  It was in Arlington at a Horse ranch.  They first fed the goats bread which Preston wasn't quite sure about.
Here he is riding a horse.  He did such a great job.  They were able to go around twice.

They served lunch and birthday cake of course and while we were waiting to open presents, swinging on this horse made tire swing.

The cutest shetland ponies.  I wanted to ride.

Preston's first grade picture.  He is so handsome and he looks so much like my dad in this picture.

Halloween 2013

This was Tuesday night before Halloween for Trunk or treat at church.
Callie was a flapper girl and she looked like the real deal.  I watched a youtube video for her hair.  I think she looked fabulous!!

Preston wanted to be Handy Manny last year.  I found the shirt at the gap and the hat online and a friend lent me the tool belt.
Paige as Snow White.  She is as beautiful as a princess.  We were just lacking the black hair and lips as red as rubies.

Texas State Fair and The Lion King

We took Callie and Preston out early from school and met Taylor's sisters out at the Texas State Fair.  It was really crowded that night and some interesting people walking around.

Callie really enjoyed the pig races and Ostrich races.

1,000 pound pig!
 Our pig won!  #4
The ostrich race was so funny to watch the jockeys jump on.  They can be mean animals.
The new Big Tex since he burned down last year.  Callie took this one for us.

I love this exhibit offered every year at the fair.  It is so cute and fun for the kids and helps them understand how we get our food.
 Getting her apron on.

 Watering the peach tree.
 Feeding a pretend friend.

Kendra and Paige are good buds!

Prize steer at the fair.  Most Beautiful cow if I've ever seen one.
She looks tiny next to this tire!

Chase was out of town so he couldn't use his Lion King tickets.  Taylor and Callie went to eat at the fair and walked around.

 She loved the play!

Soccer and Baseball- Fall 2013

Every week we weren't sure how to dress for the games.  One week it was pouring, the next we were freezing, and then we were so hot we thought we might pass out, and back to freezing.  The kids really enjoyed Soccer and Baseball this fall.
Callie scored the winning goal in the last 2 minutes of the game.  I was jumping up and down screaming for joy!  We were so proud of her.  Her team's name was the Sharks!

Preston got better at batting without the T.  He played with his friend Tyson Schwanenberg.  There team's name was the Mets.

Preston and Paige kicking the ball around while Callie played.
Chase and Meme got to come to Callie's last double header game.  They won this game but got slaughtered 7 to nothing the last game.  The team was undefeated and were brutal!
Callie's team won 6 games and lost 2.  Not to bad.
