We drove down to the beach after we went to Hollywood and Beverly Hills. Callie was so excited to go and then once we got there she was kind of scared of the waves. We had a fun time. Preston loved running toward the waves and then away from them. We aren't used to cold water though. The Pacific ocean was like 60 degrees. People were swimming in it. I thought they were crazy.

When we'd go to the beach while we lived in Wilmington, NC I couldn't believe how warm the water in the Atlantic was. Especially compared to my memories of California beach trips! Too cold for me!
