Breaking Dawn 2 in California!!

My sweet husband gave me a trip to California for my 30th birthday to go to Breaking Dawn 2 with all the friends I started the Twilight saga with.
Leticia Beck, me, Liana Wilson, and Sara Ochs.
We were pretending to run from the wolves.  Doesn't look like it at all.  We look rediculous! I loved the movie except the surprise ending.  Liana and I were gasping but it turned out in the end.  It
That night I stayed at a wonderful friend's house and this is the view of her backyard.  I felt like I was staying in a 4 star hotel.  I had a lovely room and a yummy smoothie for breakfast.
Friday morning Sara Ochs, Liana Wilson, Meredith Salisbury and I drove down to the L.A. fashion district and shopped for several hours and then headed back to avoid traffic and get lunch.
Oh, how I miss the mountains and palm trees!  I would give anything to see that out my bedroom window every morning.
My friend Debbie held a get together with delicious food and great friends.
 Charity, Julie, and Melanie Bascum
 Lindsey, baby Nixon, and Katy.
Rachel and her 3 kids.  We used to hang out all the time.
Saturday Morning I went to lunch with Katy and Rachel to the Kopper Kettle Kafe in Yucaipa.  I had the pumpkin pancakes which are as good as I remember.
Next I headed to Cafe Rio for lunch with Charity and Debbie.  We did some window shopping and lots of taste testing.  Then I my friend Jennie picked me up and we actually did some shopping.  Always a fun shopping partner.
Lindsey took me to go get a pedicure along with Katie Brown.  It was so relaxing and loved catching up with these two girls.

Sunday morning came by and it was time for me to go home.  I had a gourmet breakfast and headed to the airport.  My view from Lindsey's guest bedroom.  That far mountain is Big Bear.  It already has snow on it.

I had an amazing time in California!!  Can't wait to go back.

My little princess!

Paige started taking ballet with her friend.  She loves it.  This day was the week of Halloween and we forgot to dress up.

The Christmas ballet recital is coming up.  Can't wait to see how they dance.

School carnival

We went to Callie and Preston's school carnival on November 10.  They had games, prizes, food to eat, bounce houses, and a fun little train ride.

Paige made a toss into the toilet bowl.

One of Callie's classmates put her into jail.  She wanted us to pay to get her out but we just let her stay for the full 5 minutes.  She wasn't very happy.
Preston and Paige loved the train ride.  Callie I think is starting to feel a little old to ride.

Afterwards we stayed and played on the playground.

Hallween fun 2012

Making Pumpkin sugar cookies with Callie's friend, Ella.
The night of our church, trunk or treat party.  My brave fireman.
This year I attempted and made Callie's costume.  She wanted to be a bat. I made the ears and cape and it turned really cute.  Quite proud of myself with the thanks to my friend Reina for helping me.
My sweet Paigey!  She loves Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse.  She says she wants to be Minnie again next year.  That would make 3 years in a row.
The night of Halloween.  Preston wasn't feeling good and he was inside.
We brought the wagon for Preston.  He had a sore throat and a little fever.  Poor Preston.
We went trick or treating with Preston's friend Tyson and Chloe.  Chloe and Paige both dressed up as Minnie.  One pink and one red.
Her bag was getting heavy.  She wouldn't let me empty it into the wagon for fear of loosing any candy.

An older Minnie Mouse passing out candy.

Texas State Fair

Taylor and I picked up the kids early from school on Friday afternoon and headed to Dallas to the Texas State Fair.  It was the last weekend to go.  We ate yummy Fletcher corn dogs, nachos, cotton candy, ice cream but no fried s'mores, or fried cheesecake.  Wish I could have tried them.

We visited Betsy the cow for Bordon Milk products.  The prettiest cow you've ever seen.

We went to a doberman dog show.  They did lots of tricks.  It was cute.  Callie loved it.
We visited all the animals.  Baby zebras.

They were so mean and boy do they bite.  I saw it in action.  He about took this kids hand off.
Taylor being brave.  That's his hand.
The kids loved this place.  They provide aprains and baskets and you get to plant seeds, feed sheep, milk cows, and water pretend trees.
Callie milking a pretend cow.  There was also a simiulation to see what it actually feels like for the cow to be milked.

Callie being a dork! I think she felt to old.

This is real!  Crazy how it looks.  Taylor says there is a mirror somewhere to make this illusion.
 Waiting for Kelly Pickler

When she walked out I was like, "who is that!"  She shaved her head for her friend who has cancer.  She still looked great.  We only stayed for 3 songs.  The kids were exhausted.
