Biddy Ball Basketball

Callie started Biddy ball basketball on Friday night.  She was so excited to go.
I found these boy basketball shorts for her.  She totally looked the part.
They all started with stretching and a warm-up run.  My friend, Rachel who is helping volunteer on Callie's team said  Callie is a natural.  She couldn't believe she could dribble and walk at the same time.  A lady sitting next to me asked if she had played before and said she is a great runner.  Taylor and I were so proud since neither of us have athletic abilities.
I thought they were getting jersey's, but instead a t-shirt.  They were divided up into teams.  Callie is the tallest on her team.  That's how it always was for me when I was growing up.
Preston playing with his friend Baylee on the bleachers.
Paige after church.  She looked so cute I had to take some pictures.

I love this one with her tongue sticking out.

Happy 2nd Birthday Paige!

First thing when she woke up.
They are all ready to help me make cupcakes.
Our neighbors came over to watch Paige open her presents.  They gave her a mini pillow pet.  It's so cute.
Paige got a Leap Frog refrigerator letter magnet and leap frog movie.

Her big present was an Ooh la la salon and boutique.  It is so cute.  Even Preston plays with it.
Later that night we headed to Chuck e cheese with Paige's friend Kenya and her sister.

She was making this silly face.
Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Paige, Happy Birthday to you!

Going on a hike

We had some neighbors move in 3 houses down from Chicago last week.  They have the same age kids as Callie and Preston.  We have been hanging out almost everyday.  They enjoy hiking so we went with them.  It's sad that we have lived here 3 1/2 years and never hiked this trail that is in our backyard.

The gorgeous view.
The boys were always so far ahead; we had to tell them to slow down.  Paige rode in a backpack and did great.  I on the other hand was dying going up the steep hills.

Valentines Decorations

At Christmas I made these snowflakes and they turned out so cute.  I found them on pinterest.  My friend loved them so much she wanted to make some for Valentines Day.  She bought double sided paper and I like it so much better.  You can check out my board on pinterest.

Christmas Festivities!

Callie made this hat to wear for her Christmas program at school.
Preston made this ornament at preschool  for Taylor and I for Christmas.

Callie made this ornament at school for Taylor and I for Christmas.

Every year BNSF does a train ride for disadvantage kids and we were able to go as a family.  We boarded in San Bernardino and rode up the Cajon pass and back.

All the helpers were volunteers and they decorated the train.
While aboard the train they passed out juice boxes and goldfish.  They enjoyed their snacks.

Highway patrolman visiting all the kids on the train.
Alvin, Simon and Theodore came along too.
An elf walked the train cars and made balloon animals for every kid.

The conductor showing the kids a few magic tricks.

Santa Clause and Mrs. Clause was a big surprise to have on the train.  They passed out coloring books and                         pencils with a stuffed animal.

If you can't read what the train says, "The Holiday Express"
