Smiling!

So sweet.

Paige has the biggest smile. She is smiling all the time now. She is a really good baby.

Father's Day

My friend put this together. I thought it was so cute.
I made breakfast parfaits for Taylor on Sunday morning. He always orders them when he is on business for work.
Callie and Preston made these cards for Taylor at her preschool. So I helped make them and my friend used them for place cards. They are so cute.

Swim lessons

Callie waiting to jump off. I guess it was cold.
Yeah, she did it.
Callie with her instructor.

My friend asked me to sign our kids up with her kids for swim lessons. They are 2 weeks long. The first day they were so nervous. After that, Callie couldn't wait to go. Preston cries every time we get in the pool. Yesterday he had to go potty during the lesson and when we got back, it was over. He started crying because he wanted to get back in the water. Dude, make up your mind.

More Graduation

All the moms in the program. It will be sad to not see them again.
Preston was so excited that Mickey Mouse was on the cake. He and Mrs. Kim are big fans.

She looks so cute in her cap and gown.

Yeah, preschool is over. Callie loved it. She says she already misses her teacher and it ended Wednesday. They got to wear a cute cap and gown. Callie kept calling it a dress. They got a certificate and sang a little song they learned. Callie has grown-up so much this past year. She is not a baby anymore. She is a girl. We are so proud of her and hope she continues to excel in her education. Here are some cute pics from her graduation program.

The Beach!

We went to the beach on Saturday with some friends. It was a little chilly but not bad; high 60s. The kids were in the water all afternoon. They had so much fun. It was Paige's first trip to the beach. I didn't get any pictures of her. How forgetful am I?

Taylor taught me how to fly a kite. It was kind of scary.

Callie kept saying she was Ariel.

Jump House Disaster!

We rented a jump house as well for the party. I called the rental place on Thursday and spoke with a lady and chose the theme Scooby Doo. They were to deliver at 11:00 a.m. and the party started at 1:00 p.m. Around 11:15 I thought maybe I should call. Then 11:30, 12:00, 12:15, no jump house. I started to panic when I called and no on answered. I left a message. No one called. I kept calling back. What are we going to do at the party. I had two games planned, we were going to eat and open presents. Finally I got a hold of Loco's jump rental and the lady told me the delivery guys were pulled over by the cops. She said she would call me back. It is 12:30 and she never called back, and again when I called no answer. What the heck! Taylor suggested to try and call another jump house and see if they had anything available. I called this place in Redlands, 15 minutes from our house and they had one and said they would be at our house a little after 1:00. They ended up being $35 cheaper and they said the one they were going to give us a jump house that didn't have a roof. They said it would be to hot. So they gave us one way bigger for the same price. In the end it worked out great. Oh and get this the original rental place called at 12:45 and said well we didn't get directions to your house. I was like "Your a place of business. You should have a navigation system or go on map quest." That was his excuse. I told them I wanted my money back and they caused me lots of stress and a huge inconvenience. The kids jumped until 8:00 last night. They were exhausted. It was a great birthday. I probably won't have one for another 3 years. Last birthday party was when Callie was 2.

blowing out their candles.
101 Dalmatian jumper. It was fun. Preston wanted Tay and I to jump with him. It was cute.
All the ladies talking in the garage while men inside watching sports.

Preston was so excited to get Mickey Mouse. He loves Mickey.

Double Birthday Party!

Yesterday we had a birthday party for Callie and Preston. My friend made these popcorn cupcakes for her son's birthday and I loved them. I decided to make them too. I also did a movie theatre theme as well. If you want the recipe on how to make them go to swankypear.com. I failed to get a picture of the table. We had pink lemonade and my dad sent me these great nacho containers from his company. I made popcorn, set out peanuts, popcorn cupcakes, and caramel chocolate covered pretzels. Everything was so yummy.

Preston's Birthday

Happy Birthday Preston! Preston loves to work in the yard with Taylor so we got him a lawn mower for his birthday. He absolutley loves it. He parked it next to the real lawn mower in the garage.

Wind Conference

Taylor attended a wind conference in Dallas this week. He left on Sunday afternoon and didn't get back until tonight. It seems like he has been traveling a lot lately, which stinks for me and the kids but it sounds like he had a really good time at the conference this week.

George W. Bush

W was the keynote speaker. Taylor got to sit on the second row and was pretty excited to get to see him up close. Taylor said he did a really nice job and had a great sense of humor, plugging his book, and did not criticize Obama. In fact Bush mentioned he has no interest in making news or criticizing his predecessor. Bush said he did not like it when Clinton criticized him so he promised himself he would not do that when he left office.

Taylor said he was pretty funny during his speech making fun of him self. He told me this story. Bush recalled "Laura purchased our house sight unseen in Texas, which I refer to as a faith based initiative. As soon as the media reported our purchase we were told that 650 people drove by the house the first day which did not make the neighbors very happy. My first day living in the house I decided to take Barney for a walk. Now you have to remember Barney only knows the White House south lawn, Camp David, and the ranch in Crawford. As for me this was my first time to walk a neighborhood in 10 years. Barney headed straight for Dr. Young's lawn and there I found myself the former President of the United States with a plastic bag on my hand picking up what I had been dodging for the past 8 years."

This was after his speech during the question an answer session. He was pretty funny plugging his book. He said "I am writing my book and I know that may surprise some of you who think I can't read much less write."

Cowboys Stadium

BNSF sponsored a customer appreciation event at the conference Taylor attended. The event was a tour of Cowboy Stadium followed by dinner in the locker room. He has such a tough job...I feel so sorry for him.

The picture to the right is in the cheerleaders locker room.

This is a picture from the press box. The screen behind him cost $40 million!

More party

They loved the jump house and cotton candy.
Preston kept asking Tay and I to go jump with him.

friends birthday party

We went to a friends Birthday party and they had a jump house and a cotton candy machine. We felt like kids again as you can tell from the pictures. I think I ate 3 whole cotton candy's myself. It is my favorite. And it didn't cost me $5 like at Disneyland.
